Who I Am

Elena Nardelli is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Post-Doctoral Global  Fellow at the University of Padova and Kyoto with the research project  “Philosophy as Translation: Toward a Translational Education”  (PHILTRANS). She obtained her PhD from the University of Trieste with a dissertation on the relationships between philosophy and translation in contemporary thought (Al bivio della traduzione. Heidegger e Derrida, PUP, 2021). She studied and worked in Lisbon, Venice, Paris, Jena, Rom, Berlin, and Bologna.

She is a translator from German and French into  Italian, a member of the Translation Team of Hegel Art Net, and a member of the executive board of the Research Center for the Philosophy of Translation (PHILTRA) of the University of Padova. Her research focuses on the philosophy of translation, German classical philosophy and contemporary philosophy, especially aesthetics and ontology.
